"What the hell am I going to do, Nikki?!" Neil yelled as soon as the phone call ended. He was freaking out because Max was coming over and was probably going to ask why they were hanging out without him.
"We can just tell him you were tutoring me on our upcoming math test!" Nikki suggested, slightly freaking out as well. The ocean-eyed boy thought for a moment.
"Okay, we can tell him that. Just please don't tell anyone the things we talked about at the park," Neil begged, not wanting anyone to know about his secrets.
"Did you really think I was going to? Of course I won't tell anyone. But is it okay if Max knows?" Nikki asked without thinking. Neil gave her a surprised look.
"What?! No! He can't know that I like h-"
"Guys?" The two could hear Max ask from outside the window.

**** The drive back to Fox Tower was silent between Andrew's group. The Foxes victory against the Ravens left the team rattled with happiness. Matt and the others chatted away cheerfully on the ride back. Neil sat behind Andrew. He still felt the push of Andrew's lips against his. Neil brought hand up to his face and ran his thumb over his bottom lip, his heartbeat quickened as he thought about it. All his life he had been running, but the Foxes gave him a home. As the blonde turned around to face him again, his eyes were glistening, his lips formed a tight line. "What are you-", Neil began, but Andrew's hand flew fastly in front of his mouth, covering up the words he intended to ask. "Don't talk", Andrew told him in a growly voice, "This ain't getting no easier with you" Neil took Andrew's hand off his mouth, which Andrew didn't protest against. "Geez", Andrew responded, then grabbed Neil by his waist and pulled him closer, not letting go of Neil's hand in the process.
