four quirky best friend + three seemingly useless (but cute) boys + the most popular guy in school turned zombie + a stoner found hiding in a cupboard = a surprisingly efficient rat-tag group of zombie slayers on their way up the east coast of australia to their safe haven. Some of them may have biceps for brains, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. BEWARE: excessive amounts of pop culture references, bad jokes and zombie guts ahead. It's September and I need a roommate. I couldn't live in the dorms anymore. I was fed up of being paired with idiots. I was done sharing my kitchen and my bathroom with an entire floor. You know when you see someone for the first time and you think that those clothes they're wearing really are appalling and that they should immediately remove them, any type of clothing really, well that's the first thing that crosses my mind when I first meet Holt. A small town in the middle of no where is suddenly invaded by the undead. Now the town is cut off from everything. Now it is time to realize who they actually are, and whom they've been living with. After years of friendships and good will, do they know everything about each other? Are they good enough friends to survive the undead? Or will they die in a pit of drama and horror?

There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.

He can barely afford to eat outside, while she chooses not to. He's happy with his life, while she is sick of it. He's a keen reader while she's a keen addict. Have fun reading about their lives, laughing at their jokes and weeping at their misfortune. These journals will potray that nothing goes by nature's rules.
