Alexyla "Alexa" Alwen is the last survivor of her now-dishonored noble House. She seeks to don the mask of a newcomer to Imperial high society, and find information leading to who sold out the Alwen name and got her brothers assassinated and her home brought to ruin. 

What she will find, instead, is another chance for the Alwen name to be associated with power.

While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner.
