Power rangers samurai premiered on nickelodeon in 2011, and the reception was lukewarm for what was supposed to be the big relaunch of the franchise after saban re-acquired the rights from disney back in 2010. the main complaints of the series are the hokey acting and the lack of originality in the story (being a cut-copy-and paste of the sentai series it is based on, samurai sentai shinkenger). however, i created a shinkenger adaptation pitch back in 2010 when PR when everyone thought PR was on its deathbed and disney stopped caring. lets jsut say it was very different than what we got: the characters had different names, different personalities, different ethnicities (including an asian red ranger, such a big missed opporitunity there given the motif) aswell as a completely original storyline that went in a completely different direction than what we got. here's the pitch.All Rights Reserved

But Silver, Mentor, and Jayden know the truth, botu of what can happen, and what could be the cost, if it does indeed come to fruition. Silver will gladly die for her friends, but she refuses to die like her family did running away from the fight that they were needed in. But the pressure is getting to her. The News about being the Last Defender, Antonio's return to the Shiba House to help, the news that she might have other family out there left. The news about which of that says she could indeed be the only one who could truly help Jayden, as he uncovers the power of the sealing symbol. The Pressure is building up, and Silver is like a ticking time bomb. The white ranger Zord won't be the white tiger it'll be a dragon, as it would be so much cooler. Luke didn't kill Kronos, Percy did. Th Olympians are connected to the morphing grid. They can't morph, but they know what the power rangers are, and Hestia feel when they've been chosen, as they're a symbol of hope. Percy traveled with the hunt to help them in Alaska.

I got this idea and I don't know if people will love it or hate it but I haven't written in a long time. I don't own PRS just my own storyline and characters. So, the suits are modernized versions of the original MMPR suits. Everything else is basically the same. Just those suits...not feeling it. I was half expecting arc reactor blasts to come shooting out the diamonds in their chests. Just thought I would let you know. *Jason David Frank will NOT be playing the main character.
