*Title and Cover to be Changed!* Ophelia Scarlatti has had a difficult life. In and out of foster care from ages three to eight, dealing with her parent's addictions, and handling the loss of her grandmother, she and her brother take guardianship of their youngest siblings, where she is quick to talk to a recruiter about joining the Army. Once sworn in, she is flown to Oklahoma, where she begins training. In week two of her training, the world stops. A deadly virus breaks out, only adding to the ever present reality that 97.9% of the population was wiped out. Separated from her brothers and sister, Scarlatti befriends her Drill Sergeants and a fellow trainee, and they devise a plan to get Stone home, and search for the rumored "safe havens" in unharmed military bases. Armed only with what they can carry, the unlikely allies make their way to Stone's hometown, over 500 miles away. What they find can only be described as wreckage and leads to heartache.

Title: 28 Decades Later Genre: Sci-Fi | Adventure | Romance Setting: 280 years after the zombie apocalypse Synopsis: Nearly three centuries after the world was shattered by the zombie outbreak, humanity has triumphed-but at a cost. With cutting-edge technology, global cooperation, and ruthless efficiency, the last of the undead were eradicated. But the origin of the virus remains a mystery. Fearing a second outbreak, strict population control and isolation protocols now define human survival. Nations no longer exist-only fortresses, each one self-governed, self-sustained, and wary of the world beyond their walls. Fortress Azul is the most advanced and secure of them all. For over a decade, it has thrived without trade, war, or need. Inside its walls lives Trevor Vale, the obedient son of Azul's iron-willed mayor. Groomed to one day inherit leadership, Trevor has never questioned the rules-until he meets Mia, a wild and resourceful girl from outside the fortress, a "gypsy" wanderer who knows the forgotten world better than any book or monitor ever could. When Mia is caught sneaking into Azul and Trevor secretly helps her escape punishment, he uncovers truths long buried-about the virus, the fortress, and the outside world. As their bond deepens, so does the danger. Mia's presence challenges everything Azul stands for, and Trevor must choose: stay within the walls of safety and control... or follow Mia into the uncertain wilds, where freedom comes with risk-and beauty hides in ruin. But something is stirring beyond the horizon. No zombie has been seen in decades... until now.
