Too Dark for you to Love
In the gloomy town of Deathmoure, located amidst misty landscapes, people possessed an unusual trait - they couldn't inflict death on anyone, including themselves. It was a pacifist's dark utopia but for my grieving heart of a white widow, it was a prison - a sanctuary of despair. Needing a path out of this grief-stricken existence, I began my search for a reaper who could aid in my departure. With the newly arrived reaper, broad-shouldered with a charismatic, sly charm that was hard to withstand, I found myself engulfed in a bizarre investigation. Mysterious events began occurring within our rainy town, pointing indirectly toward my mysterious reaper. Amidst this chaos, an unlikely sentiment blossomed within me - love. As the investigation deepened, so did the connection between me and my reaper. It was an unexpected twist, a cosmic joke. I was no longer an icy fortress but a hopeful woman, falling in love with the man who was uncovering the darkest secrets of the people around me. Third time's the charm, isn't that how the phrase goes? Or, rather, is it three strikes, you're out? For Dipper Gleeful, it tends to fall onto the latter. The boy could get anyone he should desire, given his net-worth, his angelic genetics (thanks Mr. and Mrs. Gleeful), as well as his connections. And, being devilishly clever doesn't hurt. However, apparently fairytales are dead wrong and finding true love is more difficult than it's cracked up to be. Even when you are the closest thing America is going to get to an actual prince. Guess, it's a little different when somebody needs you. _______________________________ Follow this (short in chapters, lengthy in words) oneshot that I've written solely because I just adore people meeting their end-game significant other when they dunno it yet. Also, writing Dipper in other relationships is something I've always wanted to do without it interfering with my other stories's plots :) In short, there will be Chiuful, Scarletter, and RevDipcifica in this little mini-series.
