It's like the whole world stopped. Everyone just stood there, not moving or breathing. The lights faded out and my lungs ached. I couldn't breathe. No matter if I gasped, nothing would come. It started when the rain fell. As it hit the windows rhythmically, I fought my sleep. Fighting off the demons in my dreams. I hadn't realized how real that dream became. Waking up to terrified screaming. My heart racing, the lighting striking and my family begging for their lives. I claimed myself as a coward that very same night. I hated myself. My depression became the best of me. What's worst then your family being slaughtered? Hiding in the closet from the killers. I should've helped, I should've been there for them. The pain between my chest and stomach was growing guilt. So I started thinking smart. Looking at everyone differently. I decided to reopen their cold cases. And when I found the truth it hit me deep.

You're going to be the way I no longer have to live life trapped in my own head 24/7. And eventually ... soon, you will be the reason I stop pretending. This is a promise I am making to myself, and you are all going to be witness. 2025 is the year I stop playing pretend.

Being away from my family and loved ones for so many years brings me pain. I've changed my ways. Instead of killing I save people. I save the humans that hide somewhere in the world. I give them hope. Risking your own life is okay but risking your daughters life in the process is reckless. Barely surviving the first fight I had with Tom and the witch was nothing compared to the things I go against to save and protect my daughter. Let's just hope I survive this battle so my daughter has a mother to come home too. .......Let the battle begin.
