The Elite at this high school find her shadows worth following, worth connecting with, worth trying to understand...that is the last thing she wanted. Poppy is private, she always has been, she was raised to be, her best friends were always kept at an arm's length, only told what they needed to know, not all that they could know. The Elite interfere with this line of safety.

What happens when they get too close?
