What were the odds? You figure that you know everything about yourself, about the world around you, you think you have everything sorted out. That you know what could do wrong and that you are ready to face the world.
Set (more like forced) into an adventure to find a 'key' of some sorts, what will happen when Solstice Claustra is paired with the mysterious Devin Markes? A trail of fighting off non-human soldiers, other humans looking for the key, the key promised to reset the world and cast out evil. Devin embarks with Solstice (again, more like drags her along) to find this key, and encourages her to use her so-called 'special abilities'.
Solstice wants nothing more than to change her entire being, and forget who she is, but she quickly realizes that isn't an option, and that she has to let back in, and let go of memories haunting her.
