Elliott didn't exactly have plans for his summer...but whatever idea he might've had, road tripping with his entire family and his sister's best friend's entire family was not it. But, here he was, cooped up in a van with this boy, this older brother that he's never met, who also happens to be distractingly cute...

Max honestly wasn't sure why he agreed to come on this road trip in the first place. Sure, he loved his brother, but committing to a cross-country road trip with Jake's best friend's whole family was a bit of a stretch. He would be much happier back at home, close to the beach and the familiar streets he loved to run.
Or so he thinks.

When two boys get shoved into a van together for the entire summer, there's no telling what might happen. Neither of them expected to be driving to New York with a bunch of stops along the way during their precious summer. But, what if it's not so bad? What if Elliott makes a new friend in Max? And at least Max will have someone to talk to...

Or maybe, y'know, they might just fall in love.
