Jingga adalah satu-satunya anak umah yang dapat mengecap hiruk pikuk dunia pendidikan kejenjang yang lebih tinggi dari 11 anak kandung umahnya. Namun untuk mencapai mimpinya itu jingga harus berjuang mati-matian meyakinkan umahnya bahwa pendidikan dapat mengubah nasib seseorang apabila berusaha bersungguh-sungguh. Sempat medapat penolakan keras dari umahnya untuk melanjutkan sekolah ke kota dengan alasan ekonomi keluarga tak membuat jingga berputus asa begitu saja. Jingga hidup dalam kesederhanaan  dalam kesehariannya jingga selalu belajar mandiri dengan memegang prinsip "Jangan Selalu Bergantung Pada Siapapun". Berkat usaha dan doa akhirnya jingga dapat restu dari umahnya untuk melajutkan sekolah di kota seperti yang di angan-angankan itu.
