When you live in Westeros, you are part of the game. The board is as big as the seven kingdoms. Pawns or players, you don't have a choice.
The Starks don't like to play. But somehow, they still do. One of them doesn't want them dead. So they have to win.
But wanting is one thing. Doing it is entirely different.
So, what of it? She wants to stay alive. She wants her family to stay alive. What else can she do but play the game?
Play it before everyone else. Before Sansa and the steel in her spine. Before Robb and the crown on his head. Before Jon and the weight of his name.
She is the Stark that was never born. The one that fell and stood again, the one who forgot only to see something else. She is the Stark they didn't know they missed. The player.

The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references! I do not own the characters in this book, exept for Elena Snow (and a whole lot of others tbh, mainly the guardians). All the rights go to George R. R.
