Into the darkness, I'm sinking.
Following every whim I had.
Procrastinating as never before when it comes to school.
And oh did I mention my consciousness. My mind is in daze and unconsciousness more than awake most of the days.
So I always wonder if there will be a time when I will wake up from this daze. If there is a chance for me to start swimming again toward the surface.
Sometimes I wonder who is the person I turned into, but sometimes I also wonder if that's just me. That I never changed in the first place.
What does it take for someone to change?

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same.
