Brooklyn was too busy planning the next 20 years, when life demanded to be lived. She woke up in the hospital with IVs and monitors attached to her. They said it probably wasn't anything serious, but some tests were going to be run. A few days later, she found out she has spinal cancer and only has about 16 months to live.
So she made a bucket list and was determined to do amazing things. Between learning to live life, finding a cute boy, and getting to know her family better Brooklyn was approached by a foundation who wanted to find a trip of a lifetime.
Follow Brooklyn and her sister, Marni, on their adventures to cross things off Brooklyn's list before The Inevitable.
Once upon a time...
That's how all the fairytales begin, right? There's a girl who's mistreated and misunderstood. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met. It's love at first sight, the guy saves the girl from whatever misery she's in, they meet only two or three problems along the way, and then it's happily ever after.
But this isn't a fairytale.
