Juan is your typical, underpaid servant who works for Princess Eva in 14th century England. Sure, the princess isn't very nice, but at least it's better than cleaning loo out the streets, and is a fairly secure job in a fairly crazy world. Well, that is, until he gets fired... However, his lucky break seems to come when he learns of a chance to become a knight in the Royal Guard. He's not the bravest or the strongest man ever, but everyone has to make a living somehow. Being a knight, however, is much easier said than done. Pitted against enemies that seem impossible to beat in a war with no 'right' side of the conflict, Juan is forced to overcome an army which threatens the safety of King Henry and the royal family. And now, it's his mission to keep the stuck-up Princess Eva alive. Worse yet, fighting against those knights who are ten times his size scares the heck out of him... ---------‐--------------------- Not finished yet. I have not checked it over completely, so please forgive any typos . Also, this description is purposely vague on specific story details, as I come up with a lot of the plot points as I write each chapter.
