Expected the unexpected ... High School - college story.

The story started out normal...just a few teenage kids in highschool, living life free-spirited and to the fullest. Parties on the occasion, couples sprouting from every direction, just...having simple, innocent, adolescent fun. Not caring about anything, really. So, it sounds normal, right? It was normal.. was.

Dealing with a criminal worse than expected

This tale of the unrelenting love between two teens under difficult circumstances takes place in a politically incorrect time when there were no personal computers, no Internet, no cell phones and not many other things we take for granted today. Some of the descriptions of events and practices will seem odd and even unbelievable, but they do represent the craziness that existed then. Some things that people did then would be crimes by today's standards, but they weren't back then. The names of both people and places are fictional and no offense to anyone is implied or intended.

Young man born into a world of drugs and violence survives his teen years looking to change his life and escape his past. As a college student he befriends other young men, some with similar past that they are trying to escape also. They go through this journey together until tragedy forces them all to face their dark pasts they want to escape
