[Completed] Avery is a retired Army veteran who was doing okay for themselves. Yeah sure, they were technically homeless, but they had their kitten, Slim Jim and two best friends who had their back. Everything changed when Maggie, an immigrant from Glasgow, hit them with her car. After one date, Avery had to admit they were a little hooked on her. (TW: PTSD from explosion; narcotic anonymous mention/recovery; being detained by ICE)
