The death of Professor Charles Xavier and other beloved former X-men such as Emma Frost, Ororo Munroe, and Hank McCoy along with a few Brotherhood members such as Erik Lensherr and Cain Marko has drove the mutants apart. Rumors has it Raven Darkholme now runs former island of Magneto's "Genosha" while the X-men all went their individual ways, abandoning the X-mansion.  This was until former X-men member Jean Grey, now happily married to Scott Summers with a child (Nathan Grey Summers) decided to take action and re-build what was broken down.
