In the high class southern society of her small town in Texas, Lamby Milton has lived her whole life stuck under the thumb of her mother and her family's strict values of what a perfect daughter should be.

After getting runner up in the most important pageant of her teenage career, Lamby finally gets the courage to explore a different world other than her suffocatingly strict one.

And if that means running away with an off-wheels teen from Boston named Spike, then so be it. Besides he's kinda cute when he's not cussing people out.

And I'm sure Lamby's family will love him, or not.
