But, the protectiveness was only in Midoriya's mind. He felt ever since the friendship falling apart, that everything around them did as well.
Bakugo on the other hand, didn't know any of Midoriya's feelings from him being blind to becoming number one and blind from all the incidents that have happened to him. But he did know, how much Midoriya cared about all the things that have happened...

Now they are in their second year at UA, both 17 like the rest of their classmates. So what happens when someone starts to develop feelings while the other has a partner? Does it work out?
