Kai Hasumi and Terumi Rakuyama are best friends. But, they both have a dark secret. They're both murderers. When the Kira killings begin, Kai and Terumi start fearing getting caught more than ever. One day, Kai decides to drag Terumi along and offer L their assistance, in exchange for protection.
