Shawn Mendes is the all-star on his high school's hockey team and the pressured prodigy to be the best in his league. It's his year to potentially be scouted for the AHL, and eventually the NHL. He can't have any mishaps or distractions. He has to be perfect.

Camila Cabello's passion is dancing. She's loved dancing ever since she's been little. She'd watch her mother dance in their small kitchen when she was growing up. Ever since her mother passed away, she made the promise to dance for her. She's stopped dancing for herself - the joy it use to bring her died when her mother did.

Camila's up for a full-ride scholarship to the city's top dancing academy. She has to discipline herself or she'll never get it. She'll never fulfill her promise to her mother.
