Prey has been being stolen from the clans, and she knows who is capable of this. Her escapades and mysterious 'leavings' in the middle of training which are fully out of her control, puts her under the blame. How will Frondpaw be able to say a word about who is doing all this without risking her life?

In SunClan, Blossompaw is fighting a constant battle with her self-worth and second guessing all of her skills, always pushing herself to the brink of exhaustion and still never feeling good enough, just desperately trying to be a good SunClan warrior. Owlpaw has finally set her paws on the path of a medicine cat, but despite her best efforts she still feels out of place and in the way, and to make things worse she is faced with another mission from StarClan, and if she fails this one; death and violence could consume all five Clans.

But when she gets a warning of great devastation, she has to balance her skills to become a great warrior later on, keep herself under a good light, and try to figure out what the warning could possibly mean. Would she successfully make herself more liked and figure out what it means, or would she doom her whole Clan as a lousy, inexperienced apprentice? Meanwhile, Mousepaw is coping with health issues and Coalpaw's trying his hardest to be a great warrior, despite a huge danger looming over the horizon...
