Akali struggles to find a new path after becoming the Rouge Assassin. This is the story of her leaving the Kinkou and figuring out what she wants in life. 
You don't have to know about League of Legends to enjoy but it is lore friendly. :))
She is around 23 in this fanfic, and Shen is only a few years older, which is made more apparent in the later chapters.
