The four new clans have been at peace for many seasons, but a new medicine cat apprentice, Willowpaw receives a prophecy that might put the clans to an end. A small PineClan apprentice, Sunpaw, befriends this medicine cat apprentice. Sunpaw is often teased of his small size but he wants to prove he's the best warrior. Finally Rainspeckle, a kind, loyal warrior of MistClan, trains in the Place of no Stars and gets her heart broken by her former mate, Beavertail.
