Princess Gwendolyn of Losington was tired of being a Princess. She hated the rules, the clothes and expectations from her parents. Being the youngest Princess, the spare part if you will, she was often overlooked by her busy parents and pampered sister. They only good thing about living in the castle was the weekly visits she got from the boy she thought she was in love with - Tyrian.

She wanted to be free but she was like a caged bird, made to accept how her life was going to be instead of choosing for herself. When she arrives in America she meets the Kefalas heir, the brooding yet gorgeous Cohen. Having suffered a nasty breakup, he views Gwen's appearance as a nothing more then a distraction. But as time goes on feelings change, and Cohen realises he may just have a second chance at love, and Gwen realises she is in love, just not with the person she originally thought.
