Izuku was a very quiet boy who had no friends, aside from his bully katsuki. His mom was never at home since she worked abroad. Izuku was a high honor student and the fact he was always sleeping  in class because he had really bad insomnia didn't  help until one day katsuki gave him some very helpful "advice " he was going to do it but he was stopped when one sleep deprived hero changed everything.All Rights Reserved

Trust for Izuku Aizawa was a fickle thing, he'd constantly be forced to switch between trusting someone with his whole heart to hating them with every fiber of his being. Such was the story of his father, his teachers, his classmates, his old friends, hell even his own mother (though he never did or ever could hate her). The only person he trusted was his sister and it stayed that way for a long, long time. It stayed that way until he was adopted by Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, he gained a new brother and sister both of whom he loved dearly. Katsuki had been giving Izuku money and gifts since part way through Middle School in exchange for the green-haired boy to stay away from Katsuki, but eventually, it slowly changed to be deals that if Katsuki gives Izuku money, he had to do XYZ. Essentially, Izuku walks up to Katsuki and asks him about some merch he wanted and Katsuki gave him the money for it in exchange for him to do various things like triple check his homework, go to bed at a reasonable hour, stop eating unhealthy food for X amount of days, etc. This didn't change when they entered UA, the two used to being subtle about this unique aspect of their relationship. Little did they know that their classmates were more aware of their surroundings than their Middle School classmates and had begun to notice the odd interactions between the two followed by Izuku being ordered around by Katsuki.

While living with his aunt and uncle they seemed nice for the first month to give him time to "grieve" over his mothers death.
