When the Detroit police department keeps getting calls about two teenagers going around shoplifting, they finally take action when two teenagers with the same description as the shoplifters rob a bank downtown. When they arrest the kids and take them into custody, they find out these kids aren't like other children.

The two go to confront the villain-only to get sucked through a portal to a different universe, where they end up stuck in Gotham. They start to work with the Dark Knight himself, along side Robin, and other heroes. The two get used to working with other heroes, and they have a lot of fun.
