Vida Sanders is the daughter of late president Markham Sanders. She lived her days as normal as America's first daughter could be especially being America's first black daughter. The title alone angered people and it only motivated her to be more in life. To prove a point.

Yet, when her safety is compromised she has to locate to London and rebuild her life. But what does she choose? Love, education, rebellion? She felt as if she had her entire life planned out until Grimm Dalton entered the picture.

Grimm Dalton would be the example in a dictionary if you looked up 'failed system child.' He didn't choose the life he was given but he did choose how to deal with the cards life dealt. He thought meeting Vida was an absolute mistake. But, what he didn't realize was how much two people could have in common to come together.

It's nobody's job to repair someone. However, it's comforting when someone has hurt just as much as you have.
