Cedar Brooks is a nineteen year old girl who suffers from derealization, a mental illness that makes you feel like you're not really here. Like everything around you isn't real. Just finishing her first year of college it hits her harder then ever. Not knowing how to cope with it, she doesn't try. She lets it take over her mind and starts to take everything she has for granted. She doesn't feel like a part of it anyway so why try to appreciate it, right? But when everything she's ever know is taken from her, Cedar must learn how to cope with her illness and find out how to be apart of and enjoy life.
