This is the 3rd installment in my Maylor series. The first installment was 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away and it was followed my 'My Bijou.' We are now in the 1980's and Queen are at the top of their game. Brian and Roger have been together since before Queen was formed. They have overcome obstacles in their relationship most people never imagine. Trying to balance a demanding career and a family along with keeping their relationship a continued secret has been challenging but they have managed to find a way. An emerging threat in the world begins to impact their lives. It will rock the foundation of their love, their livelihood and force them to face their deepest fears. Losing their band, losing their secrecy and losing a brother. Will their love for each other see them through the worst test of their lives?

Little did he know his life was about to get turned upside down. When a famous music group is in town for some shows he has an unlikely encounter that not only shifts his future but literally and figuratively rocks his world. Roger Taylor is a bored and burned out rock star looking for something more meaningful in his life than one night stands both on the stage and in his bed. He meets someone who makes him question his future and his true desires. Will Roger risk everything to have something deeper than a top 40 single? Will Roger find what has truly evaded him for ages? Happiness.... This is a side trip from the traditional format for Maylor and takes place in an alternate universe away from Queen. I have borrowed some things from their real lives to enhance the story and give it some familiarity. I have not placed a time stamp on this story as my world contains music from the 70s, 80s and beyond. MTV exists in the way that it did in the 1980s. Each chapter title will be a song and will be accompanied by a video of that track to listen to before or during reading. I hope you like my fresh take on our favorite couple! At a press conference given by Queen to an Australian reporter in 1976, Brian reveals that he and Roger had stolen away together for a brief beach holiday. While it seems innocent enough to the reporter and their fellow bandmates, there is a brief moment where it seems like it was more than just some down time at the beach.
