There are...6 main characters. You meet 3 in the beginning as they head out for their camping trip. This time, though, they go to Yosemite....and what happens when Thao, Greyson, and Mia stray from Mia's and Thao's family? What happens when they figure out they aren't really humans? What happens when they have to fend for themselves against a hord of zombies along with two other people they just met?
