Marina Ventura is an outspoken, rude and careless mermaid who is being charged for a crime she didn't commit. She's being sentenced to a year in service of the Queen down in Deltyra, an underwater city where most northern mermaids live.
Rowan Ray is a quiet mermaid who spends her days hunting for food with her friends and traveling to land. Rowan's life has been as perfect as it could get, and it's only going to get better! The Prince has asked for her hand in marriage because of her immense beauty and mystery. Unfortunately, this isn't what Rowan wanted for her life.
When the two first meet things couldn't be worse; both are prisoners to the royal family, stuck inside a large stone castle, thousands of meters below sea level. Things are looking pretty bleak, so how could things possibly get any better?

🔥Releasing on Amazon February 2025 🖤 "You will remember me," I utter, wrapping my hand tighter around the candle. "You will remember the woman who burned your world to ash. For I am a reckoning. I am vengeance. I am your demise. And no one, no man nor army shall stand in my way. Unless they also wish to burn." 🔥 🌺Corintha is an iron hearted young Mer living on Isla de las Madres, home to one of the great Mer pods of the Southern Seas. At seventeen summers, Corintha is now full grown in the eyes of her elders. Old enough to find a mate during the yearly mating season, when the young males return from exploring the world of man, far different than the calm tranquility of their island home. A land that haunts Corintha with the memories of loss, pain, and the fear that her future will be made for her. But her destiny will not be one where tradition will bind her and keep her bound to the island. Fate will pull her into the arms of Ares, the son of the pod's chief and a male that will have Corintha questioning her innermost desires. However, he will not win her heart without a fight and surviving the endless dangers that lie ahead for him, Corintha, and their motley crew of chaotic companions. The hands of fate will lead the young Mer on a journey they never thought possible. Faced with rival Mer from the North, pirates that hold deadly knowledge, and navigating the world of man without revealing their inhuman nature. These trials will test them, break them, and bring about a new story, a new legend for the travelers of land and sea. A villain with a thirst for blood. A creature of nightmarish myth. A monster to be feared. A title that Corintha will learn to bare with pride. 🦚 Trigger warning ⚠️- this book contains scenes of gore, violence, abuse, assault, and sexual situations.

[Spoilers for book one "Beyond The Sea" ahead!] After fleeing the world they once knew, an enamoured cop and a bewildered merman have only got each other, and for one of them, this is completely out of their comfort zone. For now, they are safe, but the pair are completely disillusioned to what is happening back home. A conspired plan, potentially costing them their lives. They have two options; stick it out together, or surrender the other. Is their short-formed love strong enough? Or is it all just a fantasy? _______ This is the sequel to the first book, Beyond The Sea. For this book to make sense, do read that one first. I felt like these characters deserved an answer to their cliffhanger ending. Chapter titles will, again, be in Latin numbers, but this time will be named after songtitles from Big Country's album, The Seer.
