One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. (by the way, it's not complete but I marked it like that because the chapters don't compliment one-another, so each story is basically done by the time I publish it) -Lilly RoseCompleta

Have you ever wished to spend your days sitting in the sun? Not having to care about anyone or anything? Never having to worry about make-up, boys, clothes, money, or family? Well then I, Rachel Robby, can relate. I fact, I wished the very same thing upon a shooting star. Well, I thought it was a shooting star, but it could have been an airplane. Or maybe, if you believe in aliens, you would have thought of it to be a UFO. Anyways, my wish came true. So here I am, stuck in my cat Dexter's body, when I'm actually supposed to be sipping on a margarita on a white sandy beach in Maui for my yearly vacation. My life turned upside down when I was 13 My father was murder right in front of my eyes by his own brother My mother betrayed me and my father When I was 13 I was thrown in a cell and haven't seen the light since 5 years later I was finally let out of my cell And was told I had to fight for my life ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After the war that destroyed mostly every thing in America, in order to survive three major cities were built to help restore what was lost. To get everything back to normal again. Around those cities are small villages were the poor lives. The people who are barely surviving. The major city is called Alancia and that is were Victoria lives. Her father use to be the Leader of Alancia along side with his wife and brother. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end.
