Struggling trainer-slash-freelancer Savannah gets the offer of a lifetime: infiltrate an underground fighting ring and spill its secrets. Easy money, right?

Savannah Hutton has payed the bills many ways: Crossfit Coach, personal trainer, and now struggling freelance writer. Still, she's forever in debt and her editor just called her latest top-ten list "milquetoast."

The problem? Self-censorship due to extreme people pleaser-itis. But a strange job offer might just be the solution, even though it seems hella-weird. The assignment: infiltrate an underground fighting team and expose industry secrets in a tell-all feature.

Before long, Savannah's a recruit training to make the team. But after she gets injured in her first fight, she discovers the secrets behind the team are juicier-and more dangerous-than she ever suspected. To complicate things, she can't seem to stay away from dark and mysterious team owner Chase.

Savannah must keep her cover and finish the story-and lose her change at a new life-or find a way out of her mysterious contract without getting hurt.
