Alexandra and Khalid have been best friends since birth. They started dating in seventh grade and haven't left each other's side since. They both graduated as juniors and still lived at home since they didn't have enough money saved up for an apartment. One night Khalid couldn't sleep because that morning he got a visit from his dad, who wasn't there when he was growing up, and it's bothering him. He wakes up Alex and asks if they can go for a walk. They live right next door to one another so Alex agrees. They start walking and out of nowhere there's a gun shot and Khalid drops. Alex, already having her CNA license, take her hoodie off and applies pressure. He makes it through but this is just one example of how they stick by each other's sides through and through.
