Gerard has had nightmares since he was very young- he’s been through literal hell, he’s seen people he loved dying, and have had friends and family killing him more times than he could count, and then he would wake up screaming and out of breath. On his 20th birthday, his nightmares continued- but a boy start to appear in them- a boy he’d never seen once in his life. This boy was Gerard’s idea of perfection, and he slowly start to fall in love with the boy he dreamt about. But one day, Gerard was given a choice that could change his nightmares and real life forever.

"The hardest part is letting go of your dreams." There comes a point in time when your life gets so fucked up, so out of control, that you begin to wonder if anything good is supposed to come from it at all. Gerard wondered this, because amidst a mess of terrible night terrors and an everlasting existential crisis, Frank comes into his life. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble.
