This is how I imagined my (rather perfect) life when I was writing The Exhausting Journey.

Adelle Macron has it all. Perfect looks, perfect family, perfect lifestyle. Or so what everyone thought.
Adelle was forced to go to her former elementary school to put on a security camera when they all thought the school was haunted. But it just didn't end there.

Based on a True Story.

I beg to differ that.", I sassed and got out of his grip ready to move out of the room when he pulled me by my elbow and the next second I was pushed on the visitor's chair. He trapped me completely by keeping his palms on the arms of the chair. "I tried to tell you patiently.", I scoffed at his words. Patience and he don't go in a single sentence. He gripped my chin making me look into his eyes."Now listen carefully Miss, I want you for my niece as her babysitter. Tell me how much you'll take and we can seal the deal." This time it was me who blinked once, twice and thrice. "But I don't want to work for you." See the reason was absolutely clear. I liked the kid since the moment I met her but I hated this man from the moment I gazed into his eyes. "How much?" I frowned."You really think your money can make everyone dance on your tips?" "1200 dollars a week." I rolled my eyes making him lean towards me." 1500?" "Make it 15000 and still I won't work for you.", I retorted and pushed him. I walked to the door and gave him one glance."Next time when you talk to me, make sure you keep all your richness aside. That's one thing that I never want to see you again, you self-centred CEO." "We shall see." . . . Brave but lonely. Passionate but sensitive. That's Arielle Summers. For everyone, Money, Assets and happiness may be supreme but to her, self-respect is prime. Cold and reckless. Commanding and ruthless. That was Nicolas Arnold. He only cared for his niece, his Mama and his friends. Love life didn't exist until- she came into the picture. *No Toxic Relationship. No ex-crush/lover/fiance/wife. The male lead is the uncle of the child in this book, he's not a manwhore. There are no trust issues. * Impressive Ranking: #8 in love among 2.31M on 09/04/22 ©2021 ankitawrites_Xx CC: @YT_BookAwards_Covers

Never in her wildest dreams, she would have thought that her past trauma would greatly affect her life. Annie... Annie... Those words were like needles to her ears... Like it was a direct call from hell. She couldn't help but break down. Her eyes welled up every time she heard that name. "It's okay." He said. He wanted to make her overcome her trauma, her nightmare. He just wanted to see her being happy and cheerful like she had done... Always. "We have a long path ahead of us." He spoke again. "What path?" Annabella snapped at him. "You're just a mere teenager, aren't you?" The boy's mouth started twitching. "Of course not. Don't underestimate me." "Then tell me... Who are you?" "It's better to know less. The more you know, the more you get into trouble. I don't want that, Big Sister." Ewww... Big sister? Here the story starts... Annabella Zoey Parker was a girl who loved the concept called, 'Single Forever.' She never wanted to get married not because she didn't believe in love or because she got betrayed by her ex-boyfriend. In fact, she didn't even have a boyfriend. However, her parents especially her mother didn't understand that. She wanted to get her daughter married as soon as possible. "You have to marry soon. You are almost 26. How long do you want to stay single? Until you turn 30s or 40s?!" Annabella took a deep breath before turning towards her mother with a serious face. "Okay, I'll get married." Mrs Parker's eyes lit up instantly. "Really?" She asked with a wide smile on her face. "Yeah, but on one condition. You should wait till next year." Annabella stated. Mrs Parker was confused. "But why?" "Because he's still seventeen. He'll become an adult next year so we can get married right away." Mrs Parker: "..."

I looked down at my freshly painted acrylic nails. My heart was racing and my palms were sweating. Although I was having a good time. It was time for me to get out with it. I needed to just spit it out. It's a question that's been lingering in my mind all night. It may ruin the night, but for the sake of my sanity I needed to ask Barron. Here goes nothing. "Barron, can I ask you a question?" I said as I twiddled my fingers together nervously. He nodded his head giving me his full attention. "What are we doing?" I asked softly. Barron rested his elbow on the table and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, I guess we are hanging out." He answered with no emotion. "Hanging out? You taking me to all these places is just us hanging out?" I said a little taken back. I was not prepared for that reply. I should have known. This is a Hardin x Tessa fan fiction, although focuses mostly on their daughter Emery Scott. Finished writing: March 25, 2021. Posting schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It is written in first person, present tense, and has many point of views such as, Hardin, Tessa, Emery, and a few others. Warnings! This has mentions of abuse, sexual abuse, and sexual behavior. Small preview: "No! You're being crazy, Hardin!" I chuckle lightly at the fact they don't know we can hear them. Auden probably can't because he goes to bed at fucking 7:30! Who does that? My parents have a rule to not yell in front of the kids, little do they know that these walls are thin and I can hear them in their room. Surprisingly, I have only heard angry shouts coming from their room, no moans or banging. I'm surprised they have kept their fucking volume down though. I scoff at my disgusting thoughts, and shake them away. They don't fight often though. But recently they have. About me, of course. Mom feels like dad defends her too much during our fights or some shit. I don't know. She probably should be happy he's defending her, because if he wasn't here I wouldn't be living in this house. I would've ran away a long time ago. She's just so controlling and naive. It annoys the shit out of me. Thank god she doesn't know about my late night drinking and partying, because that would only make her cry. I really hope dad doesn't tell her. I can't do one thing without the fear of her judging me, or wanting to change me. Dad is different, because he actually is like me. He understands me. If I am really being honest, I'm afraid of mom knowing the real me, for fear she'll hate me just as much as I do myself. • • If you like Twenty One Pilots check out my other books, Completed books: Tyler Joseph Imagines We're Human. • Jyler • We'll Pee When We Get To Europe (•Twenty One Pilots•FanFiction•) Alive | ør | Asleep.
