Celaena Sardothian slowed to a jog and she waited for Chaol to catch up with her. He usually wasn't this slow she thought; she had some telling off to do when he caught up. Years of experience from being the worlds notorious assassin made her want to run straight out of the castle and to freedom but Celaena wouldn't leave Chaol. She even cared enough about Dorian to stay put. However every time a richly dressed courier strutted past her, her chest would scream enemy! Since Nehemia's death Celaena had been even more on edge. Fleetfoot had howled every night.

Celaena Sardothien is Adarlan's finest Assassin but when her best friend is murdered and her ghost returns to send Celaena on a life-threatening quest, Celaena must learn to trust the people she cares about; something she hasn't done since Sam Cortland's death.

All characters and places belong to Sarah J Maas.
Set in between Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire but does have characters from Heir of Fire in it.

|| Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. When a witch appears on her door step, the last thing she would of expected was to be cursed to another year, before she ever existed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a seperate novella spinoff of the acotar series. Disclaimer: I do not own ACOTAR characters or the world. This is my own work created within Sarah J Maas already created world. This is set after Silver Flames, but will not touch on any events that have happened after. This story has 5 parts: Part 1: Before Ikarad, the second son to Feyre and Rhysand of the Night Court. Mated to Etera, the Shifter. Both of them are loyal to their court and their family. Both of them dream of a future that feels so impossible and far away, that when it is within grasp, it scares them more. Part 2: During Freya, daughter to Tamlin. Her life is limited to a circle of white stone. Her hair itches, and her dreams are filled with mountains and wings. Betrothed to a male decades older, a marriage everyone around her prepares her for. Part 3: Present Freya has known pain for a long time now and Orion is tasked to look after her. Orion, the outlier, the one that doesn't truly fit in. Freya's identity is questioned, all that she knows about the world starts to break apart. Leaving her to lean on Orion in more ways than one. Part 4: After Amaya, Youngest daughter to Rhysand and Feyre of the Night Court, tries to find her place in the Night Court. Her powers are greater than her brothers and her father. Her head is held high. Things still need to be clarified, still need to be revealed. Part 5: Beyond Etera needs to face what she has tried to hide from. Amaya needs to face her feelings. Orion needs to face his desires. Years of avoidance come to an end. Death returns one more time. And maybe this is not an end, but a beginning. Cover art by me.
