Sherlock begins to act strangely around John. He was nowhere to be seen for two and a half weeks and suddenly came back as if he hadn't been gone and nothing had happened, but John figured out that something was definitely off.
Greg was obviously in on the secret.
John had to make deductions of his own; he needed to solve a case.
He just needed time to figure out what it was. 






This isn't a very good fic, just something to write when I'm bored.

However, being such a detective doesn't leave much time for friends, or even romance. Well, until he meets John Watson. John Watson is a soldier who has just returned from war. He has a psychosomatic limp and he misses the war, even if he doesn't care to admit it. Naturally, when the possibility of sharing a flat with the world's only consulting detective arises, he jumps at the chance and instantly befriends the strange character. But it friendship the furthest that Sherlock and John are willing to go with each other? Or is the world-famous detective deducing new things about himself?

Sunlight bounced off his high cheekbones and his lips pressed together in concentration. John fidgeted in his seat, his face suddenly hot and itchy.

The severed spine could be ruled out straight away, and he seemed to have all his limbs as well. He felt an endless relief when he saw solid, uninjured skin where the blood flowed the last time. Nevertheless, the scene he was offered tugged the carpet under his feet and he had to admit (if a bit grudgingly) that Mycroft was right-he did not exaggerate when warning him it might be a shock.
