"Foolish girl, your blood was all we needed. Yet, you refused us. It is only fair that your friends pay for your folly."

There was a shout and a low thud as Ahsid closed her eyes, the darkness threatening to consume her existence. Nobody would hurt her friends, not anymore as Dane's broken face and Zion's frightened voice loomed deep in her mind's eye.

"Ignite,"she screamed as she felt the blood rush to her head, an immense bright flare consuming her.
