There was a shout and a low thud as Ahsid closed her eyes, the darkness threatening to consume her existence. Nobody would hurt her friends, not anymore as Dane's broken face and Zion's frightened voice loomed deep in her mind's eye.
"Ignite,"she screamed as she felt the blood rush to her head, an immense bright flare consuming her.

A young teenager finds a break from her monotonous life when she meets a Wielder, encroaching into a world unknown to the one that she lives in.
