Aang was there. Standing in front of me. He looked at me in the eye and said, "find Appa."
Aang's face flickered, like a ghost or a dying light bulb.
"Find Appa," he said again.
Within a matter of seconds Aang's face flickered out and transformed into Amon, reaching his hand out towards me.
"It is time for you to be equalized."
I awoke with a start, beads of sweat running down my forehead. It was a little past midnight, and I still couldn't get a single minute of sleep.

I strained against her, desperate to get to father, who's screams could be heard from inside. My mother forced me to stay put as she ran back to the house to help father. Neither of them came back. My brother and I hid in the forest next to our house as the guards came out of the burning house. He told me to stay hidden while he went to check things out and I didn't move until the house collapsed. My brother never returned.
