Daisy, a puppy, was sold by her very own family to a restaurant which kills dogs for meat. Luckily, she managed to escape and started living on the streets. One day, she met Luke Hemmings while she was hungry, cold, hurt and sad. He brought her home and took care of her. And because of Luke, along with his two best friends Calum and Ashton, she knew what love is for the very first time. 

Yes, she is loved, and loves her owner, Luke, very much. That's why she's a bit protective of him, especially when it comes to Michael Clifford.
