So It Goes. [Original Short Story.]

In a little over twenty-seven hours, I would see what the world looks like for the first time in my life. It’s a big deal, of course, as almost anything is when you experience it for the first time. But this was particularly exciting because I would experience something so commonplace and ordinary that half the time, it isn’t even discussed. Sight is what I believe we can call a blessing.
I was born blind. I can’t even begin to imagine what the world looks like, and I don’t like to attempt to try. But before long, I won't have to just try. Tomorrow, I will see the world as it really is.
