Lunar Virus ✔️
Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! L.O.V.E.
100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)Concluida

Robot love - B0yfr13nd
In the near future, a lonely girl is saved from imminent rape by a worker robot. What begins as a programmed act of protection slowly transforms into a relationship as absurd as it is necessary. He was not designed to take care of anyone. She never wanted to be cared for. But when two broken creatures cross paths, a new logic begins to be born: one that is not written in manuals, but in glances, silences and shared coffees. Between screams, forced cleanliness and cigarettes thrown in the trash, something akin to love breaks through, without asking permission. Can a machine teach a human to love itself? And what happens when that machine begins to desire, against all logic, to stay? ⚠️ This story contains explicit language, violence, sensitive topics such as abuse, depression and suicide. Highest ranking #1 in utopia -•- "It's about how your hips move," the hand that sits on my waist finds my hip, his fingertips trailing lightly along the fabric of my skirt. "When you arch your spine," he continues on, letting that same hand migrate, his fingertips resting against that central dip of my back before running upwards with the most gentle firmness. I crane away from the touch which leaves sparking heat in its wake, only forcing me further into his chest. "It's about sexual euphoria." His travelling hand finds my neck, cupping it lightly. "What are you doing?" I ask him, hardly coherent. He leans down, once more letting his warm breath fan over the shell of my ear. "Making a move." He tells me plainly. My breath, in response, catches. "You are awfully bold." I find myself saying. "You don't get anywhere without confidence Allora." -•- Allora has known nothing but wealth and good fortune. Born into high levels, she's surrounded with maids and butlers, with expensive clothes and jewellery. Her world is one she enjoys. That is, until she meets a boy.
