When recently turned 17 year old Darrien Harrison has to leave his little town in Maryland, to go live with his Uncle all the way in California because his mom is away on a business trip he is pissed. He had just started his Junior year of high school and is beyond mad that he has to leave his friends and girlfriend(ok so he wasn't that upset about leaving his girlfriend) to go all the way across the country.
Though he has gotten plenty of reassurance from his mom and friends that the eight month trip will be fun and great, he doesn't think so. All he's ever know is his little town in Maryland and now he was going to one of the biggest states in America.
The start of Darrien's trip is anything but fun and it only gets worst when school starts. Suddenly he is dragged into an intense love triangle or let me rephrase that love octagon! And he's pulled into some dangerous shit with the infamous bad girl Jessi Thompson who by the way is insanely hot. And to make matters worse more than half the school is after him for something he didn't do.

I look back over at the golden haired beauty that had been gazing at me just moments before. I am shocked to see that now she's in an intense make out session with a tall dark haired boy yet her stormy blue eyes are fixed firmly on me.
