Hey guys just letting you know, this is a rewrite of an old story I made on my old account. The account was called greylou if you ever want to read the original, but to be honest it's not the best, that's why I wanted to rewrite it. So here we go...
Tony Alvarez is a sixteen year old girl who was diagnosed with a mental illness that might eventually cause her to go insane. One day she notices that things are off and ensues the apocalypse. Will this effect her mental illness and cause her to go insane earlier then it would have if the world was still normal, or will she overcome this and survive in the world of the apocalypse.

Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. We're Still Alive(Book1)BEING REWRITTEN
This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3.
