It's the year 2045.
The world has submerged itself into the life of high-end technology and virtual reality consoles. Robots, fully electrical cars, virtual reality games, every aspect human society made a huge leap forward. But not for everyone. After the spike in technological advancement a lot of blue-collar workers lost their jobs and were left struggling for a single piece of bread, living on the streets. This is where our main character, Leon, comes into play.
Leon was an orphan that lived in the streets for most of his life. He made a living by fighting in underground clubs and stealing scrap from local factories. When he turned seventeen, destiny gave him a chance to change his way of life, to dive into the virtual reality of "Hero's Uprise". Join Leon, as he battles his way through a world teeming with demons and magic.

Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra.
