Morality (Patton) notices a sudden, severe uptick in Thomas' anxiety levels. He decides to do what's right rather than what he thinks would be best for Anxiety (Virgil) to work through. Anxiety tries to fight himself as a promise to make Thomas better, but the others, Logic (Logan) and Creativity (Roman), agree that its be best for him to leave. Anxiety finds himself alone and forgotten. Thomas doesn't improve and begins to hide his true feelings, forcing himself into situations he would usually never go through. Deceit takes advantage of Anxiety's fragile and vulnerable state, taking on Moralities role as the trusted father figure and telling Anxiety that he is unwanted. The others, including Thomas himself, refuse to believe that "Morality" would ever tell him to kill himself.
The story follows Anxiety in his journey of, well, anxiety, depressions, paranoia, self-hatred, loneliness, and suicide.
WARNINGS: Anxiety, depression, paranoia, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, negative thoughts, multiple suicide attempts, anxiety and panic attacks (yes, there are differences that I will point out as they occur). Because this story has such touchy subjects, I will not use all caps except for warnings or when Anxiety is yelling during one of his panic and anxiety attacks. I ask that everyone in the comments respects this and does not use strong language or all caps as it scares and triggers some people, including me. I will note at the beginning of each chapter what triggers are used in each chapter including capslock, bold and italic fonts, and profanity. Please respect everything said and mentioned in this story as I am coming from personal and secondhand experiences of all of this. Thank you and enjoy the story.
