Harry is broken. Broken by years of war and abuse. Broken by the burden of unwanted fame and the heavy price that came with it, and he's not sure how much longer he'll be able to take it. That is, until he finds Draco Malfoy, bruised and battered in a compartment on the train back to Hogwarts.
Suddenly Harry has a reason to live again. Their friendship blossoms into something more and life starts to seem less impossible. When their love for each other is tested and the world tries to tear them apart, they struggle for their right to a happy ending.
This is my first story on Wattpad and only the second book I have ever finished. I've poured my heart and soul into this, and only hope that you find it as rewarding to read as it was to write.
The idea for this book came from @I'veBeenMade and all characters (for the most part) belong to JK Rowling.

Healer Potter gets a new patient in his specialized ward at St. Mungo's. He can heal injuries that no one else can and it's clear from the start that this patient is broken. Injuries and abuse dating years. He knows that he can help him and he is surprised when he discovers Draco Malfoy is his patient for the next three months. Harry has to heal his injuries from an apparent suicide attempt, but soon he realizes that it's deeper than that. Draco is fresh out of Azkaban and Harry knows that the guards must have viciously tortured him, but Draco isn't talking. He's set up to stay in the Mental Health ward permanently if Harry doesn't heal him physically and mentally. At the same time, Harry isn't the righteous force of anger and courage that he once was. He quit the Aurors and suffers from extreme social anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD attacks, though it's not from war. Harry has to deal with his problems, too, but maybe not alone anymore. Trigger warning - there are discussions about sexual assaults, associated terminology and abuse. There are many panic attacks and some sleeping, eating and drinking disorders. This is a story of recovery from severe emotional distress.Complete
